Who we are

Mustard Research Ltd is a cyber security consultancy based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website.

For any privacy-related queries, contact us at dave.marsh@mustardresearch.com.

What information we collect

When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your work email address
  • Your organisation name (optional)
  • The nature of your enquiry
  • The message you send us

We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any other form of passive data collection on this website.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry. We will not use it for marketing, pass it to third parties, or contact you for any purpose unrelated to your original message.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us. Where an engagement results from your enquiry, we may also process data on the basis of contractual necessity.

How we store your information

Enquiry data is transmitted via Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure hosted in the European Union and delivered to our email. AWS acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by appropriate data processing terms.

We retain enquiry correspondence for up to two years, after which it is deleted.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing or request restriction of processing

To exercise any of these rights, email us at dave.marsh@mustardresearch.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
